About the job
Our Client, in the IT industry has openings for Support Engineer.
Mondays - Fridays
9am - 6pm
Responsibilities:
Handle escalations from L1 user support
Provide quality support and develop strong working relationship with End Users
Provide Service Desk support incudes installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting
Deployment of hardware and software including physical setup
Plan and provide End Users systems training
Enforce policies, procedures and standards within the team
Assist in managing planned/ad-hoc projects
Support based on ITIL standards
Manage IT assets, software licenses, maintenance and inventory list in country
Server Management and Infra Support
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Information Technology /Computer Science from recognized institutes. Professional certificates will be an advantage
Experience in Network and System Infrastructure or similar role for about 3 to 4 years
Progressive experience in Service Desk, Field Support, Network and System Administration
Experience in IT vendor management, procurement and IT asset management
Experience in customer/business stakeholders, communication and management
ITIL Certification / Microsoft Certification / Cisco Certification is an advantage
Strong hands-on knowledge and experience in troubleshooting desktop, printer, scanner, RF scanner, label printer, and laptop issues is a clear advantage
